Connector Configuration

Setup the Connector Configurations under the “Configurations” tab in the Connector. Save changes by clicking on “Save Config” at the bottom of each section.

Connection Setup

Create a connection between the PIM & BigCommerce instances.














Steps:

  1. Open the Configuration tab and navigate to the Connections section.

  2. Populate PIM details (PIM URL, Client ID, Secret ID, Username, and Password).

When creating API account for PIM, set the Role to "Administrator" and Group to "IT Support"

PIM URL should be secure. (e.g  https://your-akeneo.example.com). 

  1. Populate the BigCommerce details (Store hash,  access token).

AlertWhen creating API credentials for BigCommerce, set the Content, Products, Channel Settings, Channel Listings, Storefront API Tokens, Store Inventory, Metafield Ownership, Metafield Access to Modify, Manage, and Full accordingly.   
      4. Add a friendly Display Name so you can identify this connection.
      5. Click Test PIM Connection to validate PIM connectivity.

      6. Click on Save Config.
